Unlimited Mega Trucks celebrates the high horsepower skinny tire trucks that evolved from early mud truck and swamp buggy racing. It was created by Teddy Smith Jr for Detroit RC with the intention of having a narrowly limited, all out class of racing thats proven to be VERY unpredictable and nothing but laughs. Heres the class rules for your mega truck build...

1) Solid axle trucks ONLY. Absolutely no independent suspensions will be allowed here no exceptions.

2) Absolutely no motor limit. Brushed or brushless.

​

3) 2s Lipo or 7 cell Nimh maximum

​

4) Tires must be 2.2 wheel or bigger. However MT tires are not permitted. If you have Clod sized tires you will be placed in Stage 3 Monster Truck. Encouraged tires to use are the Jconcepts Fling Kings. Either 2.2 narrow or wide. For 2.6 or larger, only narrow will qualify

5) Suspension and chassis is run what you bring. No limitations.

6) Any model body can run

​

This class is open to all solid axle truck builds. It is intended to be a fun class filled with laughs, and over the top beautiful (or ugly) trucks.

These are examples of trucks you can buy as kits for Mega Trucks. Custom creations that follow the above guidelines are not only welcome, but encouraged.
